Your draft vs. your live app

How the app you are building relates to the published version everyone sees.

AyoSpeed IDE keeps two versions of your project in mind: the one you are actively building, and the live one your visitors use. Understanding the difference helps you build with confidence and ship on your own schedule.

The app you are building

While you work, every change updates your private draft. You can experiment, refine, and even leave things half-finished. None of it affects your live app until you choose to publish.

The app the world sees

When you click Publish, AyoSpeed IDE builds your app and hosts it on the web at your own address. That live version stays frozen exactly as published until you publish again, so visitors never see work in progress.

For apps that save data

  • Your draft and your live app keep their own separate data.
  • The information your real users create in the live app is never overwritten when you publish again.
  • If you change how data is organized, test it before publishing so live data keeps working smoothly.

Think of publishing as taking a snapshot. Keep building freely, and press Publish whenever your next update is ready for everyone.
