Working on tasks in parallel

Try several ideas at once in the background, then merge the ones you like into your app.

Sometimes you want to explore more than one idea without disturbing your main app. Tasks let AyoWizzy work on separate changes in the background, each on its own copy, while your live app stays exactly as it is.

How tasks work

  1. 1

    Start a task

Open the Tasks board and describe a change to try. It starts from your current app on its own private copy.

  2. 2

Let it run in the background

AyoWizzy builds the task while you keep working. You can start a few at once.

  3. 3

    Review the result

When a task is ready, preview it to see the change on its own, with nothing else affected.

  4. 4

    Merge in what you like

Apply a task to bring its changes into your main app. Skip or discard the ones you do not want.

Why it is useful

  • Compare a few approaches side by side before committing.
  • Keep your main app stable while experiments run separately.
  • Only the tasks you apply ever change your real app.

Tasks pair well with versions: apply a task to merge it in, and if you change your mind, step back to an earlier version.
